RICHARD CHANG, KROLL AND THE CHANG FAMILY’S FIGHT FOR JUSTICE

At about 1.45pm on Tuesday, 13 July, 2004, a senior risk analyst working at Abbey National’s headquarters in London, Richard Chang, was found dead in the building’s atrium. It appeared he had fallen 80 feet from a fifth floor balcony.

Just before Richard Chang plunged to his death he had been interviewed for over two hours by two ‘corporate detectives’ from Kroll about an anonymous document that had alleged fraud by senior Abbey National directors. Chang was accused of writing the report together with his line manager, Vincent Santeg.

Richard Chang’s death was officially put down to suicide but the Chang family believes the truth behind his death has been covered up. They claim that Richard died after being ‘bullied’ in an ‘interrogation’ for over two and half hours.
